To use Fonmap, you need to download the mobile application to your smartphone from the App Store or Google Play. After downloading the application, you can easily open your account by proceeding from the “Create a storage account” option. Your phone must have NFC capability to complete your storage account opening process.
Opening an account on Fonmap is free. Additionally, no membership system is required to access the services offered by Fonmap. However, any fees such as portfolio storage fees and transaction blockages arising from fund purchase transactions you make on Fonmap are reflected in your storage account balance.

Account opening processes at Fonmap also include completing the identity verification process digitally. After completing the requested information through the application, you can connect to the Fonmap Support Line via the system every weekday, except for public holidays, and between 09:00-20:00 on Saturdays for the live interview, which is the last step of the process.

With this chip, you can securely verify your identity remotely with the help of your NFC-enabled phone and quickly complete the account creation steps in the Fonmap mobile application.
In order to initiate the KYC step, which is part of the custody account opening process, your device must have NFC capability. If your NFC-enabled phone is not reading your ID or is responding slowly, make sure to follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue: Check NFC settings : On your phone, swipe down from the status bar to open the notification panel and check if the NFC feature is enabled. Check if your ID and phone are aligned correctly : Make sure you’re placing your ID so that it’s touching your phone’s NFC sensor. The NFC sensor is usually located near the front camera on iOS devices, and most often on the back on Android devices. When your Fonmap account is opened, a custody account is opened in your name at the Denizbank custody branch, which is a contracted custodian institution, and the account number is sent to you. The money transfers required for the fund purchase transactions you will make on Fonmap are made through this account. Yes, you can. For your withdrawal transactions, you can transfer money from your account using the "Withdraw money" transaction button on the money transfer page. You can only send money to your own bank accounts from your Fonmap storage account.

Alternative investment funds are open to investors for a certain issuance period. You can submit your purchase request for funds that are in the issuance period by clicking on the "Join the issuance" button.
According to the legislation, Fonmap does not make any return commitments to you. However, you can review the past performances of the funds on the fund detail page.
In your fund purchases, in addition to the fund purchase price, a certain amount of cash is kept in your account with the custodian in order to cover the expenses that may arise with the custodian institution (custodial commission, etc.). This amount is called the transaction blockage.
In the first issue transactions you will participate in via the Fonmap mobile application, a minimum amount specific to the issue may be determined. This amount is determined and announced by the portfolio management company that is the founder of the relevant fund.
