After graduating from Lehigh University, Faculty of Civil Engineering in the USA in 1993 and working in this field for a while in New York, he started a master's program in computers at Columbia University and graduated in 1997.

After working as a software engineer in companies such as Cambridge Technology Partners and Priceline in the USA between 1996 and 2000, he founded his own company and worked on the architecture and programming projects of the systems of companies such as Planned Parenthood, Kinexus, and TouchLocal (London).

After returning to Turkey in 2005, he worked as CTO in internet and mobile projects such as Mondus.net, Profesyo.net, StarTakip.com, Madalion.com, and KanalApp, with the partnership he established there.

Şentürk has been providing consultancy on software architecture and programming in fintech since 2020. Şentürk, whose technologies of interest include crypto systems, smart contracts, system architectures and programming languages, continues his career as CTO at Fonmap.
